Sandy Lombardo

Chief Operating Officer

Sandy Lombardo is the chief operating officer at the George H. W. Bush Foundation for U.S.-China Relations and is based in New York, New York. Prior to this, she was the global vice president of Human Resources, Operations and Events at AEA Investors LP, a global private equity firm with offices in New York, Connecticut, London, Munich, Hong Kong and Shanghai. In this position, she provided strategic leadership for all aspects of human resources operations and managed and produced high-profile events and conferences involving high-net worth investors, politicians, heads of states, domestic and international world and business leaders and Fortune 100-company CEOs.

Over the years, Ms. Lombardo consulted with the EastWest Institute, managing the event logistics for their programs associated with the U.S.-China military and U.S.-China political party dialogues.

Before joining AEA, Ms. Lombardo worked in the research organization at Bayer Pharmaceuticals as the manager of Research Operations, overseeing research business and fiscal operations as well as global events. Ms. Lombardo holds an associate’s degree from Albertus Magnus College.
