Eric H. Fang
Founder/Chairman of the Board, Sinoaccess Group
Eric Fang is the founder, chairman and CEO of Sinoaccess Group. He also serves as vice chairman and president and CEO of the National Center for Sustainable Development, a national 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation. He is a board member of the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point Foundation. Dr. Fang also serves as an executive standing board member of the Energy Professional Investment Committee of the China Investment Association. He serves as Strategic Advisory Board member of Energy Vault, along with leaders from CEMEX Ventures, BHP Ventures, Saudi Aramco Energy Ventures, Enel Green Power, PlusVolta, Pickering Energy Partners and Ark Energy, a wholly owned subsidiary of Korea Zinc.
Dr. Fang is also the chief China strategist and president of ANDE China, a mobile rapid DNA identification technology company in the United States (ANDE.com). In 2022, he co-founded Atlas Renewable, a renewable energy investment platform to address climate change; environmental, social, and corporate governance (ESG) and sustainable development issues. He has more than 30 years of experience in technology investment, business development advisory, corporate management, business strategic relationship development, product marketing and sales and joint ventures investment development in China, Asia and the United States.
Dr. Fang established the Sinoaccess Group more than 30 years ago as a strategic advisory and investment group that covers a wide variety of market sectors including healthcare and biomedical and life sciences, telecommunications, mobile and media, renewable energy, water resources and the environment. He was a key China market advisor to Fortune 500 public companies in the United States, such as AT&T Tridom, GE Capital Spacenet, Tektronix Corporation, L-3 Communications, Orbcomm and Arris Group, as well as Germany’s Software AG. In 1986, Dr. Fang’s Sinoaccess Group successfully built a 24-island satellite communications backbone network for Indonesia with financing by the Export-Import Bank of the United States. In the 1990s, the Sinoaccess Group brought major satellite communications leaders from North America to help China build more than eight satellite communications networks for different Chinese ministries under World Bank financing. In more recent years, Dr. Fang successfully founded Muuzii Inc., a Texas-based mobile translation and language learning company that has 58 U.S. carriers, including AT&T, as its service partners.
He was also a key founding investor of Qinghua TongFang GigaMega company in 1993. Dr. Fang was a pulmonary medical doctor in China, holds a medical degree from Southwest University of Medical Sciences in Chengdu, China and a BS in biology from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.
