Yuquan Wang, founding partner of Haiyin Capital, and chairman of the Board of Innovation Map Inc., is an investor and key opinion leader on global technology trends. His podcast, 260 Lectures on Global Innovation, has more than 100,000 paying users in the Chinese-speaking world. Through the podcast program, Mr. Wang has impacted and influenced many Chinese entrepreneurs, investors and industrialists.
Haiyin Capital was founded by Mr. Wang in 2008. In the past decade, the firm has gradually formed its investment focus around innovation and technology, smart hardware and the integration of traditional industries in the Internet age. In recent years, special attention has been given to global investment in innovative high-tech industries, focusing on artificial intelligence, computer science & robotics, electronics, aerospace, fintech, medical & health industries and new energy.
As a subsidiary of Haiyin Capital, Innovation Map was established in 2016. Prior to founding Haiyin Capital, Mr. Wang founded Consultech in 1995, which was subsequently acquired by Omnicom Group. In 1998, he founded the Chinese subsidiary of the global consulting company, Frost & Sullivan, and is currently serving as chief consultant of Frost & Sullivan China.
