In May, China’s Ambassador to the United States Qin Gang along with a delegation of Chinese diplomats toured several cities across Texas. The Bush China Foundation, led by President and CEO David Firestein, welcomed the delegation for a reception with members of the Austin community. The ambassador spoke with Austinites from a wide range of sectors about China’s engagement with Texas and in turn, guests shared their views and thoughts about the U.S.-China relationship with the ambassador.
