The 13th U.S.-China High-Level Political Party Leaders Dialogue convened on Monday, May 22, 2023 and ended on Tuesday, May 23, 2023. The virtual event was organized by the George H. W. Bush Foundation for U.S.-China Relations and the International Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (IDCPC). Bush China Foundation Founder and Chairman Neil Bush and President and CEO David Firestein provided remarks during the event.
Over the course of the two-day dialogue, the group discussed recent developments in U.S. and Chinese domestic politics and future prospects for U.S.-China relations. These discussions involved Democrats, Republicans, members of the Communist Party of China, as well as business leaders and other observers, who participated on a nonpartisan basis.
