Leslie Reagan

Director of Communications

Leslie Tisdale Reagan is the director of communications at the George H. W. Bush Foundation for U.S.-China Relations and is based in Austin, Texas after spending close to seven years in Washington, DC. Most recently, Ms. Reagan served as a public affairs specialist at the Department of Commerce, Economic Development Agency (EDA). Prior to EDA, she was the director of communications and congressional affairs at the U.S.-China Economic and Security Review Commission, a congressional research body.

Ms. Reagan previously served as communications manager at the U.S. Global Leadership Coalition and as the press secretary to Congressman Lloyd Doggett (TX-35), where she also oversaw the foreign policy portfolio including Mr. Doggett’s work on the JCPOA and foreign trade and currency issues. She is an experienced communicator, managing both external and internal communications as well as producing both traditional and digital media.

While completing her undergraduate studies, Ms. Reagan worked at the Department of Justice, U.S. Attorney’s Office in Austin. She holds a bachelor of science degree from The University of Texas at Austin, a master of arts degree from Harvard University and is a native of Corpus Christi, Texas.
