Chris Cui is leading Asia Programs at Closed Loop Partners, building partnerships with the public and private sectors to advance the circular economy in the United States and Asia.
Ms. Cui has 14 years of cross-sector experience in the financial services and philanthropy sectors in Asia, Europe and the United States, advising Fortune 500 companies’ (such as Nestlé, Swiss Re Group and AXA XL) emerging market strategies to capture growth potential from Asia.
During her previous work at two leading impact-investing venture capital firms, Closed Loop Partners and Rethink Capital Partners, Ms. Cui gained extensive impact-investing experience focusing on investment themes from education to women economic empowerment to sustainability.
Ms. Cui played an active role in the impact-investing community in the United States, where she served as an advisor for various accelerator programs to support the following social enterprises: Climate Braintrust New York City by the World Economic Forum Global Shapers and the Echoing Green Fellowship in 2018 and 2019.
Ms. Cui earned her executive MBA from the global joint program of Columbia Business School, London Business School and The University of Hong Kong. She received her undergraduate degree in finance from the University of International Business and Economics in Beijing, China.
Ms. Cui lives in New York with her husband, baby boy and two dogs. She is a member of the Rotary Club of New York.
